  maybe if we share a little about how we're doing we can provide reassurance and hope?.

  I am doing fine thanks Loz. Finding JWN has been a godsend(LOL) It's a great place to be, to be able to interact and voice opinions with people who have been THERE is really uplifting for me, and I think also for most of us who come here on a daily basis. Thanks for asking!!!

  i am from russia, and i've ben a jw for a 19 years of my life, since my early childhood.last 5-6 years that i spend my time in the organization, it was only because my family, close friends, and a girlfriend.i've been a pioneer for a 6 years, but my favorite kind of ministry was construction of kingdom halls!

  (because there was a lot of humour, creative young people, young and pretty sisters, etc.

  ;)i still have very good memories about that period...nearly before i finally quit, i was disfellowshipped for a 1 year and 4 months.in that time i 've reed a "crisis of concience" and "in search for christian freedom", and give those book to my mom,she already was inactive, and having a serious doubts.but i was too naive!i decided to comeback into organization- cause of my girlfriend and friends.and remain there as a "double agent" or a spy))i had to pass through all the way to be reinstated...when i 'came back', i had a bad surprise: the elders decided that i need to study some publications again,for my "reabilitation".

  NEW LAW Starting July 2012 in Qld Australia Preventing Door to Door Sales

  i just read this in our local newspaper this morning and thought it is very interesting.

  this law is aimed at door to door marketing by companies but i am wondering if this may end up including religious 'sales persons'.

  the comments below the story are worth reading as jw's and religious callers are definitely who many people want stopped under this new law.. .

  @James Penton....I do not know much about Australian law, but they have a Bill of Rights based on the American bill.

  Oh NO we don't. Big mistake; made by many people, our constitution, system of government & rule of law is based on the British model.

  And the way I understand it is this; until we vote to form a republic there will be no chance of a bill of rights here!!!

  Are You Blind to who the Sheep are?

  esus gave his apostles this command, "these twelve jesus sent forth, giving them these orders: "do not go off into the road of the nations, and do not enter into a samar itan city; but, instead, go continually to the lost sheep of the house of israel.

  (matthew 10:5-6) he even applied it to himself, "i was not sent forth to any but to the lost sheep of the house of israel".

  (matthew 15:24) at pentecost, peter's rousing speech to the jewish crowd confirmed what jesus had said, "to you first god, after raising up his servant, sent him forth to bless you by turning each one away from your wicked deeds.

  @searcher.... This would bring about the fulfillment of Jehovah's promise to Abraham that all the nations of the earth would bless themselves because of his faithfulness.

  Paul was indeed the appointed apostle to the Gentiles, so NO, I am not blind to who the other sheep are!!

  "but if it is preached that christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

  if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even christ has been raised.

  As an aside: Paul did not believe in a bodily resurrection either for us or Jesus. Nowhere does he mention Jesus' bodily resurrection and goes so far as to state we should also not expect one: "In the same way,our earthly bodies which die and decay are different to the bodies which we shall have when/if we come back to life again, for they will never die."

  Watch Out - Satan is watching you!

  as a witness eepcially during my teens - early twenties i believed that satan was watching me for my weaknesses.. .

  this gave me a mild form of paranoia.. .
